Vibratip is a disposable medical device for testing vibration senses. It was developed by Prof. Andy Levy of Bristol University and funded by University Hospital Bristol NHS Foundation Trust.
I was asked to design the logo and website to promote this product. The brand image must reflect the design of the product, which is friendly and fun, in contrast of the conventional testing tool of a tuning fork that is cold and invasive.
I applied typo design to the word ‘tip’ to simulate the shape of product attempting to give it a friendly look. And yet the light blue and grey scale look and feel of the logo and across the website still maintains the clinical and professional image.
